Audible's World Mental Health Day collection

Curated with Mind, the mental health charity. Includes a special edition of Audible Sessions where authors and celebrities discuss their personal experience of mental health issues.
October 10th is World Mental Health Day, a day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy. This year, we're kick-starting the conversation at Audible with a collection of topical books, curated with the mental health charity Mind, and an exclusive Audible Sessions video where some of our favourite authors and narrators discuss their personal experiences. On the day itself, we're releasing an exclusive new Audible Original from Ruby Wax, who needs no introduction as a mental health advocate and bestselling author. Click the tabs below to discover the collection and Ruby Wax's No-Brainer.

Mad Girl Bryony Gordon
“‘Your parents warn you about the monsters you might encounter in dark alleyways, but they never warn you about the monsters you might find in your own mind, the ones that taunt and trouble you, and make you question yourself to your very core.’”
Notes on a Nervous Planet Matt Haig
“‘Keep going. Keep human. Keep pushing. Keep perfecting. Keep looking out the window. Keep focus. Keep free. Keep ignoring the trolls. Keep ignoring pop-up ads and pop-up thoughts. Keep risking ridicule. Keep curious. Keep hold of the truth. Keep loving.’”
The Examined Life Stephen Grosz
“‘All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story or tell a story about them. But if we cannot find a way of telling our story, our story tells us- we dream these stories, we develop symptoms, or we find ourselves acting in ways we don't understand.’”
