Rinder was called to the Bar in 2001, beginning a pupillage at 2 Paper Buildings before moving to 2 Hare Court as a criminal barrister. Rinder has worked on cases from fraud to murder, and money laundering to political corruption. Having approached ITV with a television script, written in his spare time, he was asked instead to be the face of a British Judge Judy-esque show, thus Judge Rinder was born.

Stephen Fry joins Robin Morgan in the Audible Studios to discuss his recording of Sherlock Holmes: The Definitive Collection. Legendary musician Johnny Marr joins David Darlington in the Audible Studios to discuss his autobiography, Set the Boy Free.

After studying social science and political science at Cambridge, he began working for fuel company Shell. While there, he began reading self-help books and, feeling miserable, decided to make a change - he gave up his job and learned how to write jokes, got his first gig as a stand-up and changed his life!

Andy Burnham has served as Mayor of Greater Manchester since 2017, and as Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Culture Secretary and Health Secretary among other roles during his extended political career. Giles Wood and Mary Killen - better known as 'Giles and Mary off of Gogglebox' - joined us in the Audible Studios to discuss their debut audiobook The Diary of Two Nobodies. Believe it or not, they have a life outside that Channel 4 smash-hit programme: Giles is a brilliant artist and Mary a prolific author and journalist. They spoke to us about how they ended up on Gogglebox, what the most annoying things about each other are and the unusual term of endearment they use for each other.

Joining us for a chat is the people's poet laureate, the punk performance poet, John Cooper Clarke, who is releasing his memoir I Wanna Be Yours. Clarke, born in Salford, is well known for his classic look of drainpipe jeans, wild black hair and sunglasses, whatever the weather, something which hasn't changed since the 1970s. Being inspired and encouraged by an English teacher at school, Clarke decided that he would make a living from poetry. He performed with many hugely successful bands, such as The Sex Pistols, Joy Division and New Order.

Prof Steve Peters visits Audible to discuss his latest book, The Silent Guides, which draws on what we learnt from his best seller The Chimp Paradox. Steve Peters is an English psychiatrist who has worked with the British cycling team and other sports people, as well continuing to work in hospitals and setting up his organisation Chimp Management. In The Silent Guides, listeners will learn about 'neuroscience and psychological aspects of the developing mind, unconscious thinking, behaviours, habit formation and related topics in an easy to understand way'.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about his latest book and autobiography, A Better Me, is lauded British singer, songwriter and record producer Gary Barlow. Best known as the lead singer of British boy band Take That and head judge of The X Factor UK from 2011-2013, Gary Barlow is one of the UK’s most successful songwriters, with 14 number one singles, 24 top 10 hits and three number one singles as a solo artist. Gary Barlow’s official autobiography, A Better Me, was published in October 2018.

Martina Cole joins Robin Morgan in the Audible Studios to discuss her latest book, Betrayal, the inspiration behind her writing, and the house that she dedicates to her significant book collection!

Joining us at Audible Studios is Esme Young, English fashion designer and judge on the BBC's The Great British Sewing Bee. Beginning her career in the 1970s, Young established her brand 'Swanky Modes', opening a shop in Camden Town. Her designs were sought after, and appeared in ID and Nova. She has also designed costumes for films such as Bridget Jones's Diary and Trainspotting, including the iconic bunny outfit for Renée Zellweger. Esme Young has now written Behind the Seams, her memoir looking back over her life and time in fashion.

Ant and Dec met on CBBC's Byker Grove and an instant friendship was formed, on and off screen. They moved from acting to music, releasing three albums as PJ & Duncan, including their still popular hit, 'Let's Get Ready to Rhumble'. From there, presenting children's TV with shows such as SMTV and Gimme 5 was the next step in their journey towards international renown. Next came primetime slots, with the duo presenting shows such as Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, Britain's Got Talent and I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

Joining us at a riverside London hotel is Dame Julie Andrews, DBE, an English actress, singer and author. She has now released her second memoir, Home Work. Born in Surrey in 1935, Andrews parents divorced and she originally lived with her father, then moved back to live with her mother and stepfather. Her stepfather was turbulent, but he sponsored her voice lessons, and from 1945 Andrews began performing with her mother and stepfather unbilled.

Joining us at Audible Studios is British advertising executive Rory Sutherland, whose TED talks have been viewed nearly seven million times. He has recently released his book Alchemy: The Surprising Power of Ideas That Don't Make Sense. In many areas of our lives, reason plays an infinitesimal part. We are driven by unconscious desires. We are drawn to the beautiful, the extravagant and the absurd, such as tiny bottles of fragrance. If you want to influence people's choices, you have to bypass reason.
