Story
No Shame is a very funny, candid and emotional ride of a memoir by one of our most beloved comedians. The working-class son of a coach driver and the youngest member of the Noel Coward Society, Tom Allen grew up in '90s suburbia as the eternal outsider. In these hilarious, honest and heart-breaking stories Tom recalls observations on childhood, his adolescence, the family he still lives with and his attempts to come out and negotiate the gay dating scene. They are written with his trademark caustic wit and warmth, and will entertain, surprise and move you in equal measure.

The Silverback is known to nestle in the misty peaks of central Africa but can also be found in Barking, Essex. Meet Dave Kane, the disappointed, steroid-ingesting, metal-wielding, bouncer father of slight, effete Gamma Male Russell Kane.

Story
A fascinating account of the journey towards number 10 Downing street read by Lady Thatcher. Margaret Thatcher's government was, she says, about the application of a philosophy, not the implementation of an administrative programme. These ideas and beliefs were propelled throughout her time in office by a forcefulness and conviction, particularly in critical moments in her premiership - the Falklands War, the miner's strike, the Brighton bomb and her three election victories.

Fabulous family saga of secrets held through two generations, set against the atmospheric background of the Lake District at Christmas. The year 1936 is drawing to a close. Winter grips Wetmoreland and causes a rare phenonmenon: The lakes freeze. Summary
Giles Wood and Mary Killen - better known as 'Giles and Mary off of Gogglebox' - joined us in the Audible Studios to discuss their debut audiobook The Diary of Two Nobodies. Believe it or not, they have a life outside that Channel 4 smash-hit programme: Giles is a brilliant artist and Mary a prolific author and journalist. They spoke to us about how they ended up on Gogglebox, what the most annoying things about each other are and the unusual term of endearment they use for each other.

A joy to listen to
I love Mary and Giles, it's great to listen to them 'waffle', they are both so authentic and endearing. Now I know more about them I shall be looking for books and art by then. I definitely think a rewilding or day in life of nutties garden show hosted by Giles would be fantastic, something I would definitely watch! Great interview

Brilliant musings
Would you consider the audio edition of Mary Killen & Giles Wood to be better than the print version?
Not applicable as haven't read the written version. I would say having them narrate the diaries is just perfect you can actually visualise them.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Mary Killen & Giles Wood?
Their 'amiable' bickering such as Mary's cough for attention when she is nervous is an affectation according to Giles..,....
Which scene did you most enjoy?
The whole dialogue really. But Giles on Twittersphere recounting their unfavourable reviews when they first were on Gogglebox is loud out loud funny
Any additional comments?
They obviously care deeply for each other and this comes through the narrative. A warm and fuzzy feeling!!

Nutty
Nice little insight into Giles' and Mary's world. If only Giles would stop speaking over Mary! But then I suppose he wouldn't be the Giles we know and love. Sort of solved the Nutty puzzle but still odd they call each other by the same nickname.
