Praveen Gupta has authored several books on business management. Praveen was the founding Editor of the International Journal of Innovation Science and has written extensively on Innovation, Six Sigma and Manufacturing Excellence. Praveen keynotes frequently on the topics of innovation, Six Sigma, process excellence, and performance measures (KPIs). Praveen has worked at Motorola and AT&T Bell Laboratories and consulted with dozens of companies. He taught Operations Management at DePaul University's MBA program; and Innovation courses at the University of Illinois, Chicago and Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) where he was also the Director of the Center for Innovation Science and Applications. Currently, Praveen lives in Silicon Valley/ Bay Area, teaches innovation management at Leavy Business School of San Jose State University. Praveen's passion is to promote creativity as a learned skill. He has developed methods to teach creativity in a short time. Praveen moved to the United States in 1980. Praveen graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, and earned his MS degree from Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), Chicago.
