Nicole Gorban was born in St. Petersburg, Russia during the time of religious persecution. At the age of 11, her family immigrated to the United States in search of religious freedom. They settled in Seattle, Washington, and began their new life learning a new language and acclimating to the American culture. Nine years later, Nicole moved to Fresno, California to continue her education in becoming a teacher. She has worked in the education sector for the last fifteen years: teaching, consulting, and now serving as a Vice-Principal. She also takes an active role in leading women’s ministry at her church and was recently selected to be an assistant of women’s ministry in the Pacific Coast Slavic Baptist Association. She has a passion for ministering to girls and women and encouraging them to live a life of purpose for the Lord. She enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and going out for a cup of coffee with friends.
