Mike Fairclough is an internationally acclaimed educator, with over 25 years experience in the field. Throughout this time, he has been at the forefront of character education and developed an approach to self-development which embraces risk-taking, the concept of people moving out of their comfort zones and the building of grit and resilience. As an integral part of the school which he leads, Mike also runs a farm, which includes a herd a water buffalo, beekeeping and outdoor learning. His television appearances, press coverage and writing, on the subject of character building, have helped shape the education landscape and empower children and adults alike. He lives in rural England’s South Coast, with his wife and four children.
