Mark B. Wallace has spent over 25 years teaching in the public school system, working in a multi-age elementary classroom in the Minneapolis area. In 2015, Mark established Basecamp 16 LLC, a consulting agency focused on equipping K-12 students and professional educators in both their educational and personal journeys. His consulting experience spans students, teachers, parents, schools, administrative staff, churches, school districts, and educational conferences. Mark is the co-author of Getting Things Done for Teens with David Allen and Mike Williams, and founder of GTD K-12, bringing executive function skills and Getting Things Done methodology to classrooms worldwide. His book Designing EduProtocols empowers educators to become designers of engaging, repeatable learning frameworks. An international keynote speaker and TEDx presenter, Mark is passionate about bringing order out of chaos and making the complex simple. Mark resides in Bloomington, Minnesota with his wife Nikki and their four children.
