He grew up in the eighties and it's too obvious in his style and illustrations that was his favorite decade. In 2008, Jonathan became a published author selling over 5,000 copies of his first book Worth Every Drop. After the passing of his mother in September of 2020, he decided to write another book. As a way of refreshing his mind on the experience of writing, Jonathan decided to peruse his first book. What struck him is how much had changed in the past 12 years as far as experiences, having children, pain, theology, growth, and how much his mother was all throughout the book. There was then an emotional nudge to update the book. What began as a light update, turned into a total reboot of the book! In Jonathan's own words: "It has the same heart of the original, but with so much more muscle, grit and experience." The second edition of Worth Every Drop is twice as long as the original, with twice the punch.
