I am a retired Medical Practitioner with an interest in military history. I am married and live in the Scottish Borders. I previously wrote under the pen name Lucas Gnomite. I write for personal entertainment and a challenge - can I tell a story worth reading. The Vederius Ligustus stories relate to an imagined diary of a Roman soldier. The books in the series jump backwards and forwards in the soldiers life, as if randomly picking up diaries to read. The crime-sci-fi series try to imagine the gritty real world meeting the almost believable world of sci-fi.
