Jeffrey A. Schneider, EA, CTRS, NTPI Fellow, is the principal of SFS Tax Problem Solutions and the head honcho at SFS Tax & Accounting Services. He is a Tax Controversy Specialist, Enrolled Agent, Certified Tax Resolution Specialist, and an NTPI Fellow. He has the knowledge and expertise to help you reach a favorable outcome with the IRS. Schneider recently obtained his ACT- E, Advanced Crypto Tax Expert. In his spare time, Jeffrey enjoys reading novels and suspense books, cruising, gardening, and cooking. He is a "sports nut" and at the top of his list are the New York Yankees. In January 2018, he was appointed to the prestigious Internal Revenue Service Advisory Council (IRSAC) for a three-year tenure. Schneider recently was presented with the 2018 Outstanding Top Practitioner award from the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS). Jeffrey has been in the field of taxation for over 40 years, beginning his career in the public sector and transitioning into private practice in 1999 when he founded SFS Tax & Accounting Services. He quickly discovered his passion for helping people who have tax problems, and he handles both state and federal tax cases, such as non-filers, penalty abatement and federal and state audits. Jeffrey speaks for many professional organizations and shares his expertise at local expos and organizations on a variety of tax and business topics. He is often quoted in the press, has appeared on television as a tax expert, and has hosted an Internet TV show.
