Grant Ridgeway writes philosophical nonfiction and horror fiction exploring metaphysics, spirituality, and the uncanny. Raised in the Iron Woods of northeastern Minnesota, he draws lasting influence from landscapes where wilderness and industry meet, and where the world feels layered rather than singular. His nonfiction began in modern occult practice and lived spirituality, but has increasingly turned toward philosophy and the problem of reality itself. Rather than offering final answers, his writing approaches spirituality as a site of confrontation, examining process, meaning, and the limits of human understanding. His fiction engages cosmic dread, existential pressure, and the intrusion of the unexplainable into ordinary life. Across both fiction and nonfiction, his work is concerned with what remains when certainty erodes and familiar structures no longer hold. Now based in Illinois, he continues to write at the intersection of philosophy, spirituality, and horror, for readers drawn to depth, ambiguity, and unresolved questions.
