Ellis lives in a small town just outside of London. He discovered an interesting fact about the British Museum - children have lived there in the past. Indeed, one of them had a door in their bedroom that led directly into the museum itself. This inspired the "Museum Rats" stories, which he wrote during the 2020 Coronavirus lockdown. He enjoys visiting the British Museum with his family and friends, and listening to stories.
