She lives in Wyoming, where winter lasts nine months, the scenery is beautiful enough to almost make up for it, and the moose have better social lives than she does. When Danielle isn’t clinging to a mountain bike or pretending hiking counts as therapy, she’s wrangling her husband and four feral children, who provide endless inspiration for plots involving both comedy and survival.
