Hayato Suzuki, Representative Director, Japan Sports Mental Coach Association Born in England in 1983, raised in Tokyo. He started playing baseball at the age of 7, and even though he was admitted to a strong high school by recommendation of sports, he was unable to produce results and was disappointed. During his working life after graduating from university, he lost his mental and physical balance due to his busy schedule, and even took time off from work. Based on this upbringing, he learned about the workings of the brain and mind, and developed methods to demonstrate his strength in competitive situations. Currently, as a sports mental coach, he dramatically improves the performance of athletes in many sports, regardless of whether they are professional amateurs or famous or unknown. In addition to directly coaching himself, he also holds seminars to impart know-how on mental coaching to parents, coaches, and teachers of children who play sports. The program has been well received with comments such as ``I now know how to interact with children'' and ``I feel like I can talk to children with confidence from now on''. He has coached over 10,000 athletes to date. He sends messages daily to over 150,000 Twitter followers and over 17,000 Facebook followers.
