Loved this more than i though I would after reading the Book, i love Jasper and Wolfie story, Alyssa Avery wow you played Wolfie part perfectly, if you haven’t read or listen yet that you have to it will have you hooked from chapter one As Lulu writing style is so good.

After getting an ARC for Lulu’s latest book (and absolutely LOVING it) I started looking for more of her books and found the New York Players hockey series, and now it’s safe to say that I am obsessed with her writing!! (She’s also the sweetest human!! 🥹)

I loved Jasper from the moment I met him. He is one stubborn guy and when he gets something (or someone) in his mind, there’s no changing it 😂 I loved how he pursued Wolfie, even though she though he was borderline stalkerish (according to Wolfie), he was such a Golden Retriever and I couldn’t help but smile at his attempts to get her attention 😆 That guy took gift giving to the next level, but it just showed Wolfie how serious he was about her. He was so patient and became such a good friend to her, and I think that made me love him even more. Their relationship was built on a solid friendship first, and seeing that develop into something more was so sweet.

Wolfie was guarded and didn’t trust easily. But she slowly started letting down her walls around Jasper, and he kept proving himself to her. Their relationship was such a slow burn, but it made it all the more sweeter when they finally took that step.

The found family in this book was top notch. I loved the hockey guys and of course Freddie and Molly, and now I can’t wait to read their stories!!
