The 61 poems in White Terror Black Trauma concentrate on some of the most traumatic events in Black history from colonial to contemporary times, from the arrival of enslaved Africans in 1619 to Black revolts, Civil War atrocities, incalculable lynchings, the Tulsa massacre, the brave sacrifices of Rosa Parks, the Freedom Riders, the heroes of school desegregation, the murders of Emmet Till, Dr. King, Fred Hampton, Malcolm X, Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, George Floyd, Breanna Taylor, Eric Garner, and Tyre Nichols. And so many other Black tragedies.

The Path Through, is a collection of poetry on the subject of processing personal and inter-generational trauma by mother and son team Judith Brassard Brown and Ezra Michael Pryor. So many of us walk a lonely path in response to traumas of all sorts. It is easy to become discouraged. Pryor's poems and Brown's artwork confront their experiences of trauma and the process of healing and repair with this visually striking, evocative work.

This is a collection of poems inspired by love, loss of love, and other tragic and traumatic events that began in late July of 2000—so some poems are about love and others about the loss of that love. This is my autobiography in poetry form.

Audacious: Thriving Through Trauma highlights Doreen’s amazing journey by narrating her inner thoughts in poetic prose. In her writings, she also honours 20 women who have assisted her as she supported them. It is a book that will encourage women to think about their lives, enabling them to inspire and empower themselves and others.
