Surreal Horror

Jake zieht mit seinen Eltern in die scheinbar idyllische Kleinstadt Maplewood Hills – doch die Bewohner beobachten ihn und seine Eltern, hinterlassen rätselhafte Botschaften auf der Türschwelle und scheinen Geheimnisse zu kennen, die er niemals erfahren soll. In einer anderen Kleinstadt Anfang der 90er Jahre soll sich im alten Gemischtwarenladen von Mr. Miller eine Treppe verbergen, die in die unendliche Finsternis führt – und drei Jugendliche wagen den Abstieg, ohne zu wissen, ob sie jemals zurückkehren werden.

Welcome to the Murder House. We investigate a Mystery House, one floor at a time. We start at the top. And work our way down through the Life-cycle of the insane house, picking up the jigsaw pieces to work out the deep mystery held within. And the Omega Circle group of friends are back. But terrible things are happening inside. All kinds of body horror and monsters and weird shit. Incredible things in deep bizarro surrealism.

One afternoon, young Thomas fails to return home for dinner and is soon reported as missing. His disappearance is told from the points of view of all involved, and what unfolds is a tale of ghosts, murder, grief, magic, and necromancy. It is always certain that Thomas will return...but the nature of his reappearance will haunt the minds of all protagonists involved, and each will be changed forever.
