Story18
Written between A.D. 413 and 426, The City of God is one of the great cornerstones in the history of Christian thought, a book which is vital to the understanding of modern Western society. Augustine originally intended it to be an apology for Christianity against the accusation that the Church was responsible for the decline of the Roman Empire, which had occurred just three years earlier. Indeed, Augustine produced a great amount of evidence to prove that paganism was responsible for this event. However, by the time the work was finished, the book had taken on a larger theme.

Story0
It’s time to break free from our Sunday-centric, formulaic versions of church and instead architect fresh kingdom ecosystems as an ancient yet new frontier for sustainable mission. The temptation for many church leaders is to take what’s worked elsewhere and use it as a paint-by-number. Yet Jesus showed us a different way. Every word he spoke and everything he did utterly broke the molds, rules, and laws that people had created to confine God and his kingdom.

Story5
It's not enough to plant individual churches in isolation from each other. The spiritual need and opportunity of our cities is too big for any one church to meet alone. Pastors Neil Powell and John James contend that to truly transform a city, the gospel compels us to create localized, collaborative church planting movements. They share lessons learned and principles discovered from their experiences leading a successful citywide movement. The more willing we are to collaborate across denominations and networks, the more effectively we will reach our communities for Jesus.

In this revised edition of a formerly four-volume work, Boice maintains a remarkable practicality and thoroughness that have made this a standard reference of evangelical faith and provides a comprehensive overview of Christian theology. With scholarly rigor and a pastor's heart, he carefully opens the topics of the nature of God, the character of his natural and special revelation, the Fall, and the person and work of Christ. Laypeople, students, and pastors will benefit from this rich source that covers all of the major doctrines of the Christian faith in this one systematic volume.

In 2023, the LORD shared multiple visions with me that burdened my heart for the depraved state of the Church at large today. As I fasted and prayed, I was impressed to walk around my city - just like the Israelites marched around the city of Jericho in the book of Joshua. For seven days in a row, I walked around specific buildings and journaled what I heard the Holy Spirit speak to my spirit. As you listen to these revelations, your heart will be touched and I pray you will be inspired to walk around your own city.

In 1977, David and Anna Teis moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, to plant a church in the city where David had grown up. Among all the "usual" fears, questions, and concerns a young couple beginning ministry together would experience, the Teises grappled with questions related to raising a family in the place infamously known as "Sin City". Well-meaning friends even cautioned against it. But David and Anna knew this was God's leading in their lives. They saw a city with people who needed Christ, and they knew that if God's principles for raising children were true, they could work anywhere.
