Amish Teen

After a chance encounter with an Abolitionist, Rebekah is obsessed by a desire to end slavery. But as a young Amish Girl living on a farm near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, she feels hopeless to do anything about it. Although she feels loved by her Amish family, she believes she has a higher purpose. But her protective father commands that she not interact with the non-Amish world. In his view, what happens outside their tight-knit farming community is none of her concern. But her life, and the outcome of the battle of Gettysburg, changes when the Confederate Army suddenly descends on her farm.

Catherine is a teenager who has always been rebellious within her Amish community. She meets a non-Amish boy one farm over and they and a few other teens decide to train hop their way to Chicago. Leaving early one morning, Catherine joins Matt on their big adventure to Chicago. After finally reaching the huge city, things start to happen that make her wish she was back with her family, held safe within her Amish community and that rebellion is sometimes not all it's made out to be.

Timothy Studor barely makes it through his former fiancée’s wedding. When it’s finally over, he’s ready to flee when he overhears his friends talking. Pausing to listen, he learns that the Amish district in Green Valley, Ohio, is calling for young Amish men from Hollybrook to move there and court their women.
