Answering a friend's call for help, Jorry and Seach Barlow make their way into Consulate Space, but nothing can prepare them for what's hidden in Saturn's rings. With their escape botched and their ship broken, they dock at a secret station on Daphnis for repairs, but time is not on their side. Deserters from the Consulate army, Jorry and Seach are already wanted felons, and to make matters worse it seems the Consulate abandoned Daphnis Station for a reason.
