Midnight Arcanum Academy

Zombies and Sacrificial Slayings. That’s pretty much the news headline every single day now. Like most people, I have no freaking clue why the dead are rising, or what’s causing it. All I know is that my mother is missing, and I want her back. And if this supernatural team of monster hunters can track her down then I will do anything—absolutely anything for them. Even if it means, sharing my soul to do it.

The Undead Uprising is still in progress. It all started when my mother vanished after a botched séance. After that, the undead rose from their graves and I was ‘babenapped’ by a vampire.

Well, the boys are back in Hell, delivering the necromancer to his rightful place. Sadly I’m in a Hell of my own. Welcome to the Academy of Arcanum where the Darling Dreadfuls rule and their drugs make you drool. With the Undead Uprising grounded, I’m sent to the prestigious Midnight campus in New York to finish up my magical training. My familial name is on the building which equivalates to a target on my back.

Seems like just yesterday, the boys were schooling me in forensic science at the Arcanum Academy. Now, we’re too busy hiding our own chemistry to study it. It all started with an assignment for the Council. Next thing I know, headquarters is overrun with reports of unprovoked shifter attacks. Then, HQ is attacked and looted, and some very powerful magical relics are now missing.
