When I interviewed for a new security job, I didn’t bat an eye that it was for a literal graveyard shift...headstones and all. I mean, at the hourly rate they were offering, who cares? I got this.

Turns out, I’m not guarding a graveyard like I thought. It seems I’ve just walked my broke ass into protecting a gate to hell. Yeah...I don’t got this.

Now I’m stuck in a terrifying new reality: a group of hot demons who act like I can solve all their problems, and a battle between good, evil, and balance.

Delta has the grit and determination of Vinna from Ivy’s Lost Sentinel series and the humour and charm of Emelle from Raven’s Heart Hassle series which results in one kick ass FMC. I just loved listening to this and Delta and her stab a man cootie stick comment really had me almost peeing my pants 😂 . I love how her men are quite understanding of the fact she has been thrown in the deep end after being told she’s not just a mere mortal , well all except Jerreth who’s a bit of an arse with her. Oh and I wish I could have half the dream she had , who knew shadows could do things like that 😜 Emma did a great job narrating and I can’t wait for book 2 Ivy and Raven make a winning duo.

Female constantly falling over, makes stupid decisions and brain automatically goes to sex. First book achieves nothing in regards to plot and character development.

First of all! I laughed so much! The FMC is hilarious, I wasn't sure about her in the beginning, but her antics, reactions! The fainting, the ash in mouth 🤣
She can come off as bratty but that's part of her charm. Even her stubbornness at the wrong thing is just part of who she is. She's not perfect, she's her and she's strong in her way for what she's been through. She's also annoying and again I would not have it another way.
The MMCs we are still getting to know, but there's sweet, spice, dark and asshat. They have a job to do and I do like the attraction between them and Delta. It's not insta-love, but it is insta-lust, even with the non human element, and given you know she's not what she seems you can tell that part of her drives her needs and emotions a lot.

The spice is steamy, from dirty talk to well you will see. And when it actually happens the smut is gonna be good too.
I don't think there is any pull between the guys besides being brothers in arms, but book 1 is mostly intro and discovery.

It ends on a cliffhanger and I want more laughs, more antics, more steam. so onto book 2 for me. I am invested in this from book 1, I just hope it is overall a great series!

I loved this book, it was an exciting premise and I wasn't disapointed as I started listening, the characters were amazing although it took me a while to warm up to Delta, she was a bit too whiney for my taste, but plenty of action and some great plot twists, and boy was it steamy - I had to wipe my glasses off!

Am listening to Grave Mistakes the for the second time in a few months, and it is as good as before. A story written with intelligence and wit, perfectly setup with interesting worldbuilding and plenty of ideas, put forward in such a way that it never lets the reader/listener down and holds the interest from beginning to the end.
There are times when I wish the story wasn´t set up as a harem story, not that that part isn´t good on it´s own, but these authors are just that good. Their story could stand on it´s own feet without it, and maybe get more recognition? But also then we would miss on the harem part, so feel free to ignore me there. I absolutely love all the characters in the book, so bad bad idea. Thoroughly enjoyable listen, love how the authors handle their text, characters, worldbuilding and plots. And while I love a good story, I enjoy a well written story even more. This one is all that.
