Witches , Demons and hunters with magic powers , Krystin Blackwood is 24 and the only thing she’s good at is slaying Demons. . After years of working alone she’s sent to join a team of newbie hunters who haven’t learned to harness their magic abilities which she isn’t to happy about.

This is an intriguing and original story. I enjoyed listening to this book, the great narration makes this story easy and exciting to listen to.

The cover of the book drew me in instantly - it is breathtakingly eye catching. I found the book a little hard to get into at first I think this is because I was overloaded with information. I dont see this as a bad thing though as the amount of thought and description the author has put into this fantasy world is outstanding. It is full of action and is very fast paced throughout and an exciting start to a new series of books . In my opinion the only series I feel it is reminicient to is the Cassandra clare shadowhunter books. I personally think this is going to be such a strong and powerful new series. I was given this book by the author/narrator in return for an honest and unbiased review
