I am not a freak, although many people call me that. The night my father was murdered and I was left for dead, I awoke with the ability to "sense" things. Touching things can give me visions, sometimes horrifying, murderous ones. The bones of a murdered woman are unearthed and our safe small town is shaken to its core. Her killer was good at hiding the truth and after decades in the ground, any clues are gone—her murder a complete mystery. The only clues are the ones I can see.

I find the murdered woman crumpled under a tree. Blood stains her back and her hands are bound. If I touch her, my psychic abilities will show me what happened to her. But I've lived through murders before, and the visions leave scars. Fighting my fear, I touch her—and only see four names—Addlynn Jeanette Claire Margaret.

I'm finally accepting that my psychic talents serve a purpose, that I can use them to help people. But two mysteries plague me. What happened to my good friend Lucas' sister after she disappeared then years ago? And if my father was murdered when I was young, why do I keep seeing him? When I find the long-buried remains of Lucas' sister, her murdered body only opens more questions.
