Enter our fearless sleuth, Queenie.

Okay, okay. Actually, only one of those three things describes her. Hint: it’s her name. More fitting descriptors for Queenie Beane? Disgraced cruise-line tech support. Failed theater manager. Town pariah. Certified black cat.

But either Queenie figures out who killed the woman in the graveyard, or she has to come clean about being the creator behind Everything’s Brine, a neighborhood app that has the potential to finally show the town that she’s worth more than they’ve always—wrongly—assumed.

So, it’s Queenie and her cat against the graveyard killer. And what the two dig up is bound to make anyone a little screamish.
