She can be seen playing John Turturro's mother in Transformers 2. Annie's humorous commentaries have been heard on NPR's "Morning Edition," and her essays have been printed in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Jewish Journal of Los Angeles, and numerous other publications.
