Story
It is made clear what knowledge is and how we acquire it. It is also explained how we can have knowledge of the future, the past, the possible, the imperceptible, and the non-existent. The Gettier problem is solved, and it is proved that we have a prior knowledge, as well as knowledge of non-trivial but purely analytic truths.

The Regularity Analysis of Causation
- By: J.-M. Kuczynski

- Unabridged

Story
According to David Hume (1743), for an event series to be a causal series is simply for that series to instantiate a regularity. According to Carl Hempel (1945), to explain an event is simply to identify a regularity of which that event is the final component. Both analyses are wrong but philosophers have failed in their attempts to identify the flaws in those arguments and, more importantly, in their attempts to produce viable alternative analyses. Here, the flaws in those arguments are identified and viable analyses of causation and explanation are put forth.

Skepticism and Inductive Inference
- By: J.-M. Kuczynski

Story
The grounds for inductive inference, and therewith for all forms epistemic realism, are identified. Skepticism concerning induction is shown to be incompatible with the datum that our experiences are temporally collocated and otherwise cohesive. Skepticism concerning the veridicality of our senses is shown to fail for the same reason.

Story
This short work clearly states what a formal language is and it thereby answers questions of fundamental importance about language in general. It is established that the concept of a perfectly formal language is incoherent but that the concept of a relatively formal language is coherent.

Morality and Self-interest
- By: J.-M. Kuczynski
- Narrated by: Robert Barbere
- Length: 1 hr and 34 mins
- Unabridged

-
Story
There are many reasons to behave immorally, but, so it seems, very few reasons to behave morally. In this short work, it is shown that all genuinely self-interested behavior embodies a certain morality. It is also shown that no viable ethical system requires its adherents to deny their self-interest.

In this book, each of the possible positions concerning the relationship between mind and body is clearly explained and thoroughly critiqued. It is concluded that, although mental events are identical with physical events, mentalistic statements are not equivalent with physicalistic statements.

What Are Emotions?

Story
Scholars and laymen generally assume that emotions are not judgments - that whereas judgments are expressions of rationality, emotions are expressions of irrationality. In this concise volume, it is shown that emotions are in fact judgments, with the qualification that emotions are hewed to egocentric frame of reference, whereas garden-variety judgments are hewed to a non-egocentric frame of reference.

Outline of a Theory of Knowledge
- By: J.-M. Kuczynski
- Narrated by: Lori L. Parker
- Length: 30 mins
- Unabridged
-
Overall

-
Story
It is made clear what discursive knowledge is and how we acquire it, and some age-old skeptical views are shown to be incoherent. It is shown that all knowledge is to some degree inferential. At the same time, it is shown that there are three quite distinct senses in which empirical knowledge can be inferential. It is proved that we have a priori knowledge, and also that knowledge of non-empirical truths is needed to acquire empirical knowledge.

Obsessive Fear as Unconscious Desire
- By: J.-M. Kuczynski
- Narrated by: J.-M. Kuczynski
- Length: 11 mins

Story
Obsessive fears are unconscious desires. The woman who is obsessively afraid that her phone is tapped actually wants her phone to be tapped; that is, she wants someone to pay attention to her. A neurotic fear of such and such is actually an unconscious desire for such and such, this being the topic of this brutally honest exchange.
