The Dancer is a simple story of a young woman in love, a young woman who is trying to find out who she is. While the story is simple, the manner in which it unfolds is anything but. And sometimes, the ride is so wild, it has everyone, including the author, hanging on to their seats.

Every man dreams of falling in love. But sometimes when he has that dream too often and still has yet to find his love, that dream can become a nightmare, always haunting him. The only solution sometimes is to go off in pursuit of your dream, no matter how unlikely it seems that you will actually fulfill your dream. What would happen if all the Citizens in the US escaped to a better life, one where they were not under constant surveillance, one where their lives became more meaningful? What if a non-citizen were to become a US President? Those are some of the events which happened in the 21st century. This is as much of the story as I could piece together, Senior Presidente.

Peace was all they knew. They were sworn to peace. What happens when the invaders come? What happens when their lives and their way of life are threatened? This year was an off year for apples. At least it was in my yard. Others in my neighborhood reported a record year as far as the number of apples on their trees goes. However, my trees only really invest in producing apples every other year. And this year they were saving their energy to reach for the sun. In 2017, I wrote Strawberry Cheesecake Applesauce. That treat always makes me drool. This year I’m writing Chocolate Covered Cherries Applesauce, which is another treat that will make you be rude and salivate.

Grandmother took off her amulet of power and placed it over Carena's neck. The council looked askance. Carena's sisters and mother looked jealous. Grandmother looked smug. Then she turned into a pile of dust. Carena picked up the pile of dust, then blew each bit of dust out into the air. She let the fire ripple down her arms. In between, it goes to the beach, to an Artist’s Studio, to a Native Village. We come to understand that the Artist’s Studio and Native Village are other worlds. Will the Dancer find true love? Will she find her place in the World?

Everybody has a different notion of what heaven is like. In the heaven where Jane lives, everybody is expected to use The Will to do things. Using The Will, people in Jane’s heaven merely have to think to accomplish anything. They never have to get their hands dirty touching anything. Jane, though, wants to touch things. She wants to feel them in her hands. And because she refuses to use her Will, she falls from societal acceptance, and then she falls from heaven. But falling from heaven may be her saving grace.

Oops! Now what will she do? A human has seen Nanutea the Angel through no fault of her own. Not only did he see her, he talked to her. And she was so startled that she responded. OK, OK, settle down. Humans aren't supposed to be able to see angels, but sometimes things happen. It's not the worst thing that she's ever done. Well maybe it is. But it wasn't really her fault. Just like it wasn't really her fault when all that snow had fallen off her wings and crashed through the roof of a shed.

Now at 150, Jamil is bored, even more bored than he was at 100. Then Jamil becomes disoriented, and somehow he ends up on a dance stage. Jamil found himself walking off the stage, in his elation. He couldn't stop himself, and it was a long way down.

Below the lichen, down under the moss, there is the magical land of Trusvariankoponomy. Here in Trusvariankoponomy, where anything is possible, lives Prince Pugawulamukapee, who can have anything he wants. But there’s just one wee problem.... This is a tongue-twister children's story. All the names are very long. Children will be amused as they or adults try to listen and mimic the names without getting their tongues tied.

Of Orchid and Dandelion tells the story of four young girls in the beginning of time who play outside the field and can't get back in. Orchid, of course, is one of these young girls. And Dandelion is another. But Orchid can't immediately recall the names of the other two girls. The tale continues with Orchid returning to her dynasty (she is the queen) and searching for the other three girls.
