Melo Paternò, dirigente scolastico ambizioso, arrivista e facilone allo stesso tempo, si ritrova a sottovalutare i docenti e le famiglie degli alunni della scuola da lui diretta, rimanendo schiacciato in prima persona dalla sua grossolana smania di potere e di autoaffermazione.

In un omaggio incondizionato e deferente ad Andrea Camilleri, l'ultimo (!) esperimento narrativo di Valerio Di Stefano.

Sì, si dice "supercàzzora" e non "supercàzzola". Rigorosamente con la R e non con la L. Questo è assodato, dimostrato, dimostrabile, granitico, inamovibile e definitivo e costituisce una delle poche, pochissime certezze della vita. Tutto il resto è pura illusione.

L'umorismo, che in "Debito formativo" era puramente ludico e finalizzato alla narrazione, non poteva che trovare una connotazione amara e desolante, anche se il lettore non faticherà a trarre, anche da qui, un qualche motivo di isolata ilarità.
