A dynamic civilisation rapidly developed from the intersection of Greek, Persian, and Arab cultures, which Europe would later draw upon more than it is willing to admit. The various Islamic empires that ascended and declined, along with their contributions to global civilisation, will be examined in the upcoming podcasts.
