Es ist Faschingszeit und ein frischer Wind weht durch Bayerisch Öd! Ein neues Kaffeehaus hat seine Türen geöffnet - und die Besitzerin ist eine Neu-Zugezogene aus Wien. Und dann schwirrt auch noch eine mobile Yogatrainerin im Dorf herum. Nach dem feucht-fröhlichen Faschingsmontag gibt es jedoch ein böses Erwachen: Denn es liegen nicht nur Schnapsleichen herum, sondern auch die tote Yogalehrerin! In Bayerisch Öd ist der Wolf los! Die Zeit des Wolfausläutens ist gekommen und die Dorfbewohner ziehen mit Glocken bewaffnet durch das winterliche Bayerisch Öd. Doch die alte Tradition ist umstritten und immer wieder geraten die Wolf-Fans und die Wolfsgegner aneinander. Nur den Wirtshaus-Sepp freut's, denn bei ihm treffen sich die Streithähne auf a Maß Bier. Aber dann findet Schwester Karin einen toten Wolf im Wald! Wer hat das Tier auf dem Gewissen? Karin macht sich auf die Suche nach dem Täter und hat sofort einen dorfbekannten Wolfsgegner im Verdacht.

Der Wald ist kalt, morsch der Baum - Walli ermittelt, denn der Jäger hängt tot überm Zaun. Polizeioberkommissar Wolfi Schimmel könnte sich besseres vorstellen, als den Babysitter für seine Mama zu spielen, weil diese, bei einem waghalsigen Manöver von der Leiter gestürzt ist. Und dann ereilt ihn plötzlich auch noch ein Notruf, im Wald wurde eine Leiche gefunden. Da hilft alles nichts, seine Mama Walli muss mit. Den Lerpscher Georg hats erwischt - tot hängt der Jäger unter seinem Hochsitz. Doch wie konnte das passieren? Walli ahnt gleich, hier stimmt was nicht.
