On and off through my life, poetry has been a refuge, allowing me to convey my moods, thoughts, emotions, and beliefs. This collection reflects the sum of my experiences—sometimes light and joyful, other times inspired by life's challenges, such as loss. The Night Has Its Own Darkness is a chorus of women’s voices — remembered, imagined, and reborn. Across generations and continents, they rise from silence to speak their truths: of love and loss, of resistance and longing, of faith, exile, and survival. Among them are the iconic and the forgotten, women we thought we knew, now revealing who they truly were, and others whose names were never spoken aloud. Each voice burns like a candle in the dark, passing its flame to the next, forming a fragile, luminous chain of remembrance that refuses to fade.

Psalmic Rhymes is a collection of poems based on verses from the audiobook of Psalms. The poems provide inspiration, thanksgiving, and praises to God. They are also there to draw strength from and provide messages of hope in difficult times. God has given us the book of Psalms to show us our humanity and to remind us of where our hope must be placed. Psalmic Rhymes is written with stanzas that flow in meaningful rhymes to make it an easy and enjoyable listen.

T.S. Elliot was likely the best read of any of his contemporaries. In his poetry, we often find an allusion to the works of other great writers. In "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" he makes reference to Dante Shakespeare and "To His Coy Mistress" by Andrew Marvel. Prufrock, as the name implies, is an indecisive wimp, whereas Marvel in his seduction poem, has his eye on the prize, and makes no bones about it.

And: A Love Story within is a self-transformational book written in poetic verse, stories within a story, of one woman's personal journey in the universal search for Truth, that's so relatable to others. In this audiobook, narrated by the author, Michelle Kaplan has magnified the themes of acceptance, self-love, and belonging, by incorporating original music written by Martin Kaplan and Mitch Rosacker.

A female author's poems about experiences of prenatal, childhood, adult, and ghostly love. "Co" means together and "morbidity" means suffering from a disease or condition—love and longing, pain, loss, visions and mental illness. In J.J. Brown's new book of love poems in free verse, sections are: Mother's Love, Women's Voices, Ghostly Love, Comorbid Love, Family Ties, and Meetings.

Digging deep within ourselves can be daunting and divine. Some of us need to find ourselves again, and it doesn't happen by accident. Authentic existence requires vulnerability and accountability. It takes courage to reconnect with our innermost knowing.
