A Londra gli echi della vicenda di Frankenstein non si sono ancora spenti che già nuovi, inquietanti avvenimenti stanno scuotendo l'opinione pubblica... In un caffè del centro qualcuno giura di aver visto un individuo passare davanti a uno specchio senza produrre alcuna immagine riflessa. Intanto nella campagna a sud della città si susseguono macabri ritrovamenti di animali senza più una goccia di sangue in corpo e con strane ferite sul collo. Nessuno sembra avere dubbi: è l'opera di un vampiro, forse proprio del conte Dracula in persona!
