What starts as routine surveillance quickly turns into obsession as the pair’s cryptic broadcasts begin aligning with real-world anomalies: financial transfers, coded threats, and echoes of past collapses. Drawn further onto the web, Tom drinks to silence the voices invading his dreams, while Carla creates a shrine of notes and red string in her apartment.

Sauced Up - A slang (or 'colloquial' for the more literary-minded) term for being drunk or high on illegal drugs, which many of the characters either are or wish to be. Also hinting at the 'saucy' and transgressive elements that fuel each story. Think smashed, horny, and shitfaced. Scarred - An insinuation in regards to the emotional state of the personas portrayed. An ill-intentioned wink towards the debauched and defaced world they inhabit. Think distressed, damage, and, perhaps most potently, disturbed.
