In the post-apocalyptic genre, we deal a lot with external demons. The grid goes down, pandemics, economic collapse, hostile takeover, solar flares, and EMPs are all horrifying circumstances in their own right. What happens though, when we face our own obstacles: those vicissitudes within ourselves? When trust has been broken? When a loved one is removed?
