It was just supposed to be a small, friendly prepper group get-together for some fun in the sun at an Airbnb in Panama City, Florida. However, what it turned into was a mega disaster so large that the attendees, even with their survivalists’ mindsets, had difficulty fathoming its scope and coping with it. The electrical grid was shut down, with no communications and no return flights back home for many of the guests the host had invited. Space weather wasn’t the culprit, so what was impacting the technological world so decisively?

When it first happened, the euphoria was palpable. The masses rejoiced in the new reality of no longer having to grow old or die, but brotherhood and good will was soon lost somewhere in the blurred line between infinite and finite and in those who chose differently. Those who still believed that life was meant to have a natural progression with a beginning and an end became destined to live their lives out on the streets. Those who accepted the glorious gift of "Foreverlife" lived interminably in their bliss - or so it seemed.

The deadliest killers are the ones you can't see. Three weeks have passed since the monstrous Kronosaurus imperator's attack on Harcourt Marina stunned the world. The death toll was horrifying, but Paradise Cove's traumatized survivors soon discover they have more to worry about than burying their dead and rebuilding their shattered lives.
