She watched her father take his own life and her mother accede to sexual blackmail in order to ensure her and Vera’s survival. Sono tutte frasi che abbiamo sentito pronunciare o abbiamo pronunciato noi stessi parlando di uno dei problemi più grandi del mondo contemporaneo: i rifugiati, il flusso umano che arriva da paesi in cui la situazione politica e sociale è stata dichiarata invivibile.
