This podcast is for our children—but I want the listeners to be…YOU―the adults in their lives. Our kids are coping with enormous challenges, and they look to us for strength, guidance, and hope.

We all need love. Many of us are oversexed because we are undernourished. If we don’t get enough healthy touch on a daily basis, then we may do that which we don’t want to do - masturbation and porn, and/or hooking up for sex. Healthy touch helps heal the hungry body, mind, heart, and spirit.

You might be thinking, "I've read countless books on teen depression; what makes this one different?" The difference lies in our unique dual-reader approach. Unlike other manuals, this guide involves the teenager and the adult, be it a parent, caregiver, educator, or physician. For the first time, we put teens in the driver's seat, guiding them to explore their emotions while empowering adults to provide the aid and support they need.

I chose the title A Childhood in God’s Arms because, throughout my life, my father hurt me. And God gave me a vision of Him picking me up and setting me on His lap as a child who was being abused. I laid my head against His chest, and there were tears falling down His cheeks while He held me in His arms.
