At age 22, Charlie Walker left home in search of adventure. Fleeing the boredom that comes with comfort, he set off on a secondhand bicycle. But that's exactly what happened between American legend Greg LeMond and Laurent Fignon. After more than 2,000 miles in the saddle, it remains the smallest margin of victory in the Tour's 100-plus-year history.

Conversations Across America is about the father-son journey of a lifetime: a 73-day, 4,600-mile, cross-country bike trip Kari took in 2015 with his 75-year-old dad, Merv, who had early stage Alzheimer’s.
