From the depths of the Great Depression, Ben and Gerome Stefanski were driven by a mission to help people achieve the American Dream of homeownership and financial security when they founded Third Federal in 1938. In 1987, Marc Stefanski succeeded his father Ben as chairman and CEO. Under Marc's leadership, Third Federal has grown beyond the Slavic Village neighborhood of its founding to serve generations of loyal customers across the United States.

Kristy Sheridan survived a deadly plane crash and a sixty-foot plummet off a cliff before she learned to seek God’s will over her own desires. The crash of American Airlines Flight 1420 broke Kristy’s neck and stripped away the identity she found in her prized career. A decade later, she broke her neck again when she fell more than sixty feet down a canyon in Germany. Still, Kristy’s faith remained stagnant.

I was born a BASTARD of southwest Philadelphia and raised in a rundown row house in one of America's most notorious GHETTOS, Camden, New Jersey. My upbringing was marked by a resilient mother, an inconsistent father, and the harsh realities of a city that claimed several of my immediate family member's lives, the youngest among them being a victim of police violence. I found myself embodying the archetype of an American stereotype.
