Sara Sanders is a successful clinical psychologist who often testifies as an expert witness in court. While walking out of the courtroom, she has an extraordinary encounter unlike anything she's ever experienced. No one else seems to see it. She felt as though she was being watched. She convinces herself that her mind is playing tricks on her. When she awakens the following morning, her body was achy, and she felt fatigued. A young pilot bringing an airplane from England to Mexico finds and falls in love with one of the mythical Daisy Faeries while on a trip to western Cornwall. She falls in love with him in turn. When they kiss for the first time sparks fly but he becomes a bit of a toad and she turns into a giant.
