Deep in the mists of history, Africa was colonized by Nordic Greek gods who spoke through lifelike oracles embedded with two-way communication devices. They spoke in the same birdsong language used by Nordic aliens today. Most were industrious, peaceful, happy, honest, long-lived, and their colonies free of crime. Some avoided humans because we were the opposite. Remnant colonies of strange peoples still existed during the Age of Exploration, some with forked tongues, translucent skin, ghost-white skin, eight fingers and toes, and the ever-present giants.

For millennia mankind lived upon this planet without smart phones, tablets or gadgets running our homes. We knew about the cycles of nature and the balance of life. Now, we live in an artificially created dream state that controls every aspect of our lives and will soon be facing the greatest threat ever known as we are feeding and nurturing the monster of our own destruction. For decades science fiction writers have amazed us and terrorized us with their portrayal of the world of artificial intelligence—from armies of cyborgs to legions of programmed zombies.
