When it comes to learning about ecosystems through the sounds they make, soundscape ecology listens in a particular way. Problem is, there's a lot that comes in between the ecosystem and the way we hear it. If we want to better understand how ecosystems change through comparing their soundscapes, we need to reattune ourselves to the world of soundscape ecology and find out what it really means to listen.
