Molly hates mushrooms. When she learns that she is going to have to eat mushroom stew (yuck!) while spending the night at her friend’s house, she takes out her frustration on a couple of innocent fairy ring mushrooms before being greeted by a mysterious steward of the fungi named Brother Toadstool. Their strange guest leads the two friends on a fascinating adventure to discover the ways that fungi affect our environment, our health, and more. But will Molly learn to respect the fungus among us?
