The doctor is back with a series of sessions from the likes of Sarah Silverman, Ted Danson, Weird Al Yankovic, and Maria Bamford. Based on the Emmy- and Peabody Award-winning Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist, the show reunites star/creator Jonathan Katz with H. Jon Benjamin (as his son Ben) and Laura Silverman (as receptionist Laura).

The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders of the Artificially Intelligent (DSM-V-AI Edition) is a darkly comedic, sharply insightful exploration of the psychological quirks and malfunctions of artificial minds. Equal parts parody and philosophy, it catalogs the new frontier of synthetic psychopathology with absurd precision.

Except for her broken washing machine, her fickle new girlfriend, her missing friend Coral.

The Doctor awakens to discover a universe that is at once all too familiar and yet completely unlike that which he was expecting. Join him as he argues with himself, his companions, and anyone else near enough to be drawn in—all the while attempting to save a shattered and disintegrating universe. If this seems to be parodying something familiar that has itself recently fallen apart and lost its shine, it probably is.

The narrator introduces himself as being 228 years old and goes on to document his interactions with Dr. Samuel Johnson. Being older and in a time when respect for elders was everything, the narrator expects Dr. Johnson to appreciate his writing, which the man does not. While the tale goes on to document other awkward meetings with Dr. Johnson, he ultimately dies younger than the narrator - who goes on to continue writing and living an unfulfilled life.

This refreshing comedy is fun to listen to and conveys the values of freedom of speech, liberty, freedom of religion, freedom of expression, unity, and togetherness. It brings recent events in our history to a point in a funny and ironic way, through a comical "fictional story" told in rhyme.
