If asked to list all the folks in Darling, Montana I can’t stand, I’d have a single name. Noah King. He’s the second-best farrier in town (me being the first). A royal pain in my behind. And an all-around smug pest I wouldn’t mind knocking down a peg or two. It’s no surprise after so many years, our animosity has come to a head. He’ll do anything for the mysterious stranger, including taking on Morgan City’s heroes and the newly reformed Three Bears. Boots has a greater destiny, and it is up to Keagan along with his foulmouthed kitten companion Fierce to help him fulfill it. With the Demon Twinks and Doctor Gingerman on their heels, Keagan has to begrudgingly join forces with Shadow Guardian and his band of heroes to thwart their evil plans.

This is a retelling of the Puss in Boots fairytale with a M/M update. I always thought this tale, in which the bossy feline orders the cute young miller's son to strip naked and jump in a river, was rather sexy...and still is. Only, this happy ending isn't just happy; it's gay!
