Kein Bundeskanzler vor ihr musste Deutschland und Europa durch so viele fundamentale Krisen und Umbrüche führen, kein anderer deutscher Bundeskanzler erreichte so hohes, auch internationales Ansehen. Große Persönlichkeiten aus Wissenschaft, Politik, Kultur und Religion blicken auf Angela Merkel und ihr Wirken, ziehen einer erste Bilanz einer politischen Ära und würdigen eine außergewöhnliche Frau.
