Po nieudanej rewolucji przyszły wódz Niemiec wraz z innymi prowokatorami został oskarżony o zdradę stanu i osadzony w więzieniu w Landsberg, gdzie napisał Mein Kampf - książkę zawierającą jego wizję sprawowania władzy, nawołującą m.in. do eksterminacji Żydów, a która stała się głównym dziełem ideologii nazistowskiej III Rzeszy.

Trzecia część wyjątkowej biografii Adolfa Hitlera skupia się na pierwszych latach istnienia Narodowosocjalistycznej Niemieckiej Partii Robotników i wczesnych wystąpieniach publicznych przyszłego zbrodniarza wojennego. Publikacja ukazuje także, jak formowały się pierwsze jednostki szturmowców, co należało do ich zadań i jak radziły sobie one w zwalczaniu oponentów podczas partyjnych wieców. Autor przytacza tu m.in. wspomnienia Antona Drexlera, który wg części historyków był odpowiedzialny za przekonanie Hitlera do użycia swastyki jako przyszłego symbolu nazistów.
