This last volume in the definitive collection of the best science fiction novellas published between 1929 and 1964 contains 11 great classics. Chia’s life is a mess of unresolved tension with her ex and exploring a new life with her chosen mate - all while keeping their relationship a secret. "2 B R 0 2 B" (pronounced: to be or not to be), was first published in 1962, and introduces the listener to a future where old age has been cured, population control has been implemented to keep the United States population at exactly 40 million, and death is voluntary. "The Big Trip Up Yonder" was published in 1954, and is similarly themed (old age has been cured), but in opposite. This story follows the Ford family who has 23 members spanning several generations all living together in a small one bedroom apartment under the tyrannical head of the family, "Gramps".

The original short story by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. on which this remade version of 2BR02B is based, appeared in the January 1962 edition of "Worlds of If." This version is a complete rewrite based on the original story including significant artistic and textual changes, while retaining the general concept, the bones, of Vonnegut's original story.

Feature 1: "The Mausoleum": An act of curiosity leads to the world being overrun by the paranormal. As the world fights for survival, it's up to one woman to save it. The woman's name is Emmanuelle, and she's the next keeper of the Mausoleum. Feature 2: "The Nefarious Wizard": A gas station is robbed and a wizard dies. His brother wants revenge, while the only surviving victim of the robbery just wants her life back. Their worlds - and the world of a mysterious man in black - collide in an epic showdown.

The two short stories within tell tales of Moncrieff the steampunk vampire who must defend his castle from the British, and of Eckta, a disgraced alien who is desperate to prove to himself that he is unlike his father.
