In der Ausstellung "Geheimnisse der Tiefe" entdecken die Meerjungfrauen einen wunderschönen Armreif in der Form eines Drachen. Weilan erinnert das an eine Zeichnung in Onkel Shens Laden. Onkel Shen erzählt ihnen daraufhin die Legende von Jiao Long, nach der ein magischer Armreif einen Drachen besiegte. Ob das Ausstellungsstück auch solche Kräfte hat?

Cleo und Rikki genießen die Sommerferien, vermissen aber Emma, die mit ihren Eltern auf Weltreise gegangen ist. Da kommt die Überraschung, die Zane für Rikki vorbereitet hat, gerade recht: Er hat die leerstehende Saftbar zu einem Café umbauen lassen, das er gemeinsam mit Rikki führen will. Die große Eröffnungsparty des "Rikki’s“ soll noch am gleichen Abend stattfinden.

Sophie wird von Zane zur neuen Managerin im „Rikki's" ernannt und sofort beginnt sie mit strenger Hand alles umzukrempeln. Kim ist davon so beeindruckt, dass sie anfängt, voller Ehrgeiz als Kellnerin im Café zu jobben. Sie will ihrem Vorbild Sophie nacheifern. Die lässt Palmen und Blumen ins „Rikki's" schleppen, weil sie dessen Ambiente verändern will.

Zane und Sophie haben den „Cold Coast Freediving"-Wettkampf organisiert und rechnen fest damit, dass Will neuer Freitauch-Rekordhalter wird. Die Pressekonferenz und die anschließende Party sollen im „Rikki's" stattfinden. Rikki ist genervt von Zanes Wichtigtuerei und flüchtet mit Cleo in den Meerespark.
